Since reopening our business on the 4th July and throughout the remainder of 2020 we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure everyone’s safety.
As a result we have made a number of changes to our booking system and our cleaning regimes.
We know that many of you are concerned about having your holiday cancelled due to Covid-19 and Government restrictions, so we are pleased to announce that we now have a new Covid Refund Guarantee in place which provides a Full Refund if you cancel up to 2 days before your day of arrival.
This refund is only valid in the circumstances of a National lockdown, and or the address on the Booking Form being placed into a tier by Government which had a do not travel restriction placed on it. The refund does not cover guests for falling ill with Covid or any other illness, for a requirement to self isolate or quarantine, or for track and trace alert preventing them from travelling. Those situations can be covered by taking out suitable travel insurance and we strongly urge all guests to take out personal travel insurance when booking a holiday stay with eco Chic Cottages.

Covid -19 Cleaning protocols
We have worked through our risk assessments, cleaning and other protocols – enabling us to operate as safely as possible for our team and our guests during these unusual times.
We have sourced all the PPE and new cleaning products we need, including hospital grade disinfectants. All our staff will operate under strict protocols and we are now holders of the Visit Britain – Ready to Go certification, the Quality in Tourism Safe, Clean and Legal certification and the AA Covid 19 Confident.
However our biggest change to ensure safety of our guests and our team is that we will be closed for 30 hours between guest stays. The science says that this is the very safest approach we can take and at these difficult times we believe strongly that the protection of our guests and our team is the most important aspect of our business.
During your stay
For those of you who have visited us before you will find a few changes in the house. For example instead of our Welcome handbook of useful information, we now provide a single laminated more simplified sheet of information but we are also now using an exciting App called TouchStay. Using the App you can look at all the information you need to know about the cottages and the area on your own device before and during your stay. Plus as always this website is full of information.
As always we will be operating the self check in via our Code box and our team will remain on hand should you have any queries during your stay. They will try to answer any queries by phone but should a visit be necessary, they will socially distance from you and take all precautions necessary to keep everyone safe.
Many of the attractions, restaurants and cafes are now open. As most of these will now have limited availability you may need to book tickets or make reservations in advance of your stay. However, one of the absolute joys of our cottages is that they are havens in their own rights. So if you want to just enjoy life in a rural village and stay in the cottages and their private gardens, you will still be assured of a wonderful stay in The Cotswolds.
