We accept one small, well behaved dog (less than 15 kilos)and over one year old. The charge is £45 per stay.

There are plenty of  lovely local walks straight from the front door and we provide maps and instructions for a number of nearby walks. The local pub The Swan is also dog friendly.

All dogs must be booked by prior agreement and recorded on the booking details.

All dogs staying at Culls Cottage must be fully house trained.

Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on any of the beds. We can put up a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs if requested.

We prefer dogs not to go on the furniture, but we know if they do at home it’s difficult to stop them when they are away, if your dogs do go on the furniture please use the dog throws provided

Please put all poo bags in the special dog poo bin provided. (This is by the back door it is labelled and will have a bin liner in it).

If you bring a muddy dog back to Culls Cottage after a walk, please clean them off before entering the cottage. There is an outside tap by the utility room or watering can if the tap is turned off (to stop winter freezing) Please only use the towels provided for drying your dogs.

Please never use any of the white towels provided for guest use for drying dogs.

We are in a rural environment and respectfully ask that you please follow the countryside code and keep dogs under control and on a lead when walking in the local countryside.

Unfortunately, if there is any damage caused by your dog or any additional cleaning required (especially in the dog free areas) we reserve the right to impose a fee to cover this cost.

One thing to be aware of, is that whilst the garden at Culls Cottage is large, private and enclosed, it is NOT fully dog proof with an open five bar gate onto the village road at the side of the cottage.

Therefore your dog should be kept on a lead at all times when outside of the cottage.

Assistance dogs are always welcome, and we do not charge a fee.
