The Chestnuts is a spacious cottage with Three lounges, a large kitchen and seperate dining room. It sleeps up to 8 in 4 double bedrooms with three luxurious bathrooms

Sink into the comfy sofas of the main lounge with its inglenook fireplace or snuggle up with a book in the Library room.

This room can also be converted into a movie room with the black out blinds. It can also become a fifth private downstairs bedroom should you need a little more space, just ask for details.

Whatever the weather you can enjoy beautiful views over the garden and the village ford beyond from the Garden lounge.

The most perfect holiday cottage

“Thank you for creating The Chestnuts as the most perfect holiday cottage.

The family consisted of great granny (85) down to baby Jasper (2 months), Mum and Dad, Grandma and Grandad and single uncle – who loved the BOSE sound system. As we prepared for a family wedding, Mum was able to make the wedding cake, Grandma loved the incredibly well equipped kitchen, uncle was impressed with the BBQ and the two year old appreciated the books and toys. Whenever we looked for something that you would have at home our comment was ‘this is the sort of cottage where they would have thought of that’ and sure enough.. Great showers, fabulous products in the bathrooms, gorgeous fluffy robes, comfy beds and sumptuous pillows. I think you may have worked out that we loved The Chestnuts and we would love to come back.”

A gorgeous Cotswolds cottage that suited our needs perfectly.

Four couples getting together for a pre Xmas weekend. The cottage was beautiful, really welcoming and very well equipped. It really is Eco friendly – even providing an electric car charger at the front of the property. Located just outside Burford in a picture perfect village with a great pub right opposite the property. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the kitchen was really well equipped. Highly recommend the Chestnuts – would love to come again and stay even longer as it was just so homely, we could have settled in for a while!

We have had a great time

We have had a great time, we all said how well equipped the house was, as well as being just so pretty, well appointed and a great place to stay. it’s surprising how often you go somewhere and none of the knives are sharp, there is no bottle opener, no utensils and things like that, so to find that and so so much more made looking after ourselves very easy and just like being at home. Seeing that lovely garden made us all fancy coming back in the spring or summer.
